Pricing Policy

YouLearnt commission:

Tutors can create their profiles on YouLearnt for free. The commission is charged when a tutor begins lessons with students.

For every first lesson with a new student, YouLearnt charges a commission of 75%. This helps fund our efforts in creating ads and promotions to attract new students. To receive 25% from the first lesson, it depends on the student booking a package with you. If the student does not book a package, you will not receive compensation for the trial session, as we anticipate that the student may not be satisfied and could request a refund.

For all the following, the commission rate is 25%. It will decrease when you spend hours teaching on YouLearnt. After 300 hours of teaching, the commission will go down to 20%, and then after 1000 hours, it will be only 15%. 

So, keep this in mind when you set a rate for your hour.

When the Tutor spends 300 hours teaching on YouLearnt, they will be promoted to Senior Tutor and can change their profile URL to be easy to spread. The Senior Tutor becomes a Professional Tutor after spending 1000 hours teaching on YouLearnt.
